| In spite of rain, storm and cold- there is much interest for the tower.
135 visitors climb up to the top in six hours and find out about the history of the museum tower.

End of year 30/12/2006 – It's done!!
With "Mulled wine at the Tower" we celebrate the restoration of the tower, stage 1.
With allocations of the state of M./V., sponsors and Society
money the tower lookout, the steel construction of the
windows, the concrete body of the tower, the roof-railings
and the lightning conductor were thoroughly restored. The
company Ollhof has chopped down 4 big trees which took
the view. Now the ruin of the tower is stopped. In the
coming year the tower is to be completed from the inside.
For his we are urgently looking for:
changeover intercom of the company Kölleda (GDR), 2 railway
heaters, 1 GDR fire extinguisher, original photos, documents
and pieces of information for our subject. Personal stories
about and around the tower. Information about the border
system Baltic border.
